Hello, crafty nerds!
If you are a Lord of the Rings fan, you might have the wish to own the brooch that the fellowship of the ring wears: the Leaf of Lórien.
Well, your wish shall be granted! In this video I’ll show you how to make your own using upcycled or cheap materials that you might already have at home!
And I tried to make it as movie-accurate as possible (in my opinion almost more accurate than the ones you can buy).
The upcycled material used is a soda can – I am a bit obsessed with cans actually.
Is anyone even reading this? 😛 If you do, I bow before you.
So, if you always wanted this brooch like me, or you want to make it for a friend, or you’re just looking for upcycling inspiration.. Enjoy the video!

Fine elven craftsmanship I approve, perhaps you will craft the silmarils next?
Love this! A great tutorial. I like how you used just ordinary household items to do it. Will share on my blog (beadinggem) in the near future!
