Purple Garnet Review – Extremely Rare and Beautiful Gemstone!

Here’s a quick video of a Purple Garnet review, at the GJX(Gem Jewelry Exchange) in Tuscon, Arizona – February 2016.

Purple Garnet, also known to some as Natural Rhodolite Garnet is an extremely rare and beautiful gem stone. At this moment, the exact location is still unknown but is said to be near Mozambique, Africa. Most Garnets you see are either in red, pink-red, magenta-red and purple-red, but this one is purely purple.

This particular one in the video weighs about 7 carats and costs about $1,000 per/ct. I managed to capture the richness of its color with my camera phone.

Hope you enjoyed the video and please share if you think it’s beautiful as well! 🙂

It is no secret this Purple Garnets are Mozambique origin and if really needed I can even call the mine that produces this material, maybe its good that Mozambique government kicking foreigners and illegal miners out of there….
